Kilkenny Day Project

Cluain Aoibhinn Day project is enjoyed by 28 Core members together with a support team of 18, which includes staff, volunteers and Community employment Community Employment Scheme (CE) team members.

In Kilkenny we are fortunate to have a huge community link which allows the Day project to offer a robust and holistic service. These networks and connections include the ETB, Droichead Family Resource Centre, Callan Montessori School, CE Scheme, Tus, Kilkenny St. Patricks Day Parade (Woolf Walkers Project), Léargas, Mobile Music Machine.

Cluain Aoibhinn Day project is funded through the HSE and works in line with New Directions standards. Each Core member is supported to choose between programme options such as Changing Phases Project- a project for our active retirement Core members, Movie Club, Good Will Ambassador Group, Advocacy Group, Swimming, IT and reception skills, Horticulture, Arts and Craft, Independent living skills, Retail and Customer service Skills, Songs and Drum Circles and Culinary Life Skills Training CLST.
