Financial Reports

Financial reports for L'Arche Ireland

Each L’Arche community throughout the world is responsible for its own administration and funding. The
communities in Ireland only receive between 75% and 80% government funding. The balance must be raised
through fundraising, donations, gifts and partnerships with corporate and religious partners.

Individuals can support us by organising their own events such as coffee mornings or community based events
such as table quiz or race night. Alternatively you could request donations to L’Arche Ireland instead of birthday
or wedding gifts. For the adventurous type, you can take on one of the many organised events around the
country such as Run A Muck / Hell and Bank / Dublin City Marathon / Belfast Marathon the list of events are long
and varied so no doubt you will find a challenge that appeals to you.

Legacy planning – what will your legacy be? When you are drawing up your Will we ask you to please consider
L’Arche Ireland as a beneficiary. Naturally you will want to leave your loved ones financially secure but after
doing so why not consider leaving some of your overall estate to L’Arche who will ensure that posthumously you
are improving the lives of people with intellectual disabilities. For more details check out www.mylegacy.ie
