Just this week, the L’Arche Kilkenny community embarked on a serene journey to Altamont Gardens, a picturesque garden nestled in the heart of County Carlow. This outing wasn’t just a trip; it was a chance for our core members to bask in the tranquillity of nature and revel in the simple pleasures of companionship and exploration.
As we wandered through the enchanting gardens, it was a joy to witness the sheer delight on the faces of our core members. For many of our core members, this outing was an opportunity to connect with the natural world in a profound way. From marvelling at the intricate patterns of petals to feeling the soft grass beneath their feet, every moment was embraced with childlike wonder and curiosity.
Yet, the most beautiful aspect of our visit was the sense of camaraderie and togetherness that permeated throughout the day. In a world often filled with chaos and uncertainty, these moments of peace and happiness serve as a powerful reminder of the beauty that surrounds us and the strength of community to uplift and inspire us.
