Diversity award for L’Arche

Great news today for L’Arche as we received a Bronze award in Diversity. To achieve this award three staff members participated in Diversity and equality training over a number of months. A huge thank you to Marie from our Kilkenny Community and to Anne and Nurcan from our Cork Community, without their commitment it would not have been possible. Along with successfully completing the course, we worked on updating policies and also under the guidance of the Irish centre for Diversity we will be introducing a number of people focused policies over the coming months. This is a huge achievement, and we are very proud.

Investors in Diversity Bronze affirms that the organisation has built a strong foundation to embed Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) across the operation and is equipped for the journey of becoming more equitable and inclusive. The programme recognises existing efforts and supports the journey of continuous improvement by providing a structured framework to transform practices and culture’.
